Hello all and greetings from Guyana

I am trying to translate my Spanish univ certificate but have difficulty with this phrase: 'En uso de las facultades que me confiere.
Can someone help please?

I think it means that you are capable of using the aquired knowledge.
Maybe it would be better to have more context, is that the only sentence?

the explanation s/he provides is a good one, provided that the segment you�ve cited refers to whoever issued the diploma, which it almost certainly does.
