Tax Ministry could be a possible translation. Let's see if there are more options...

www.asoc-fiscales.org/minisfiscal.html?top=full - 51k

Entonces cómo lo traduciríamos:

Ministry of Justice????

Hola sarthur, primero debemos conocer el contexto. No es lo mismo

Public Prosecutor's Office

que

Internal Revenue Service or Treasury Department

so, we need context!!

Right Exx! Context is essential here. If this were a divorce decree issued in the U.S neither the Public Prosecutor's Office (District Attorney) nor the Internal Revenue Service would normally be mentioned in the decree unless they were mentioned: A. in relation to a criminal matter that somehow relates to the divorce settlement. or B. in relation to a tax matter involving the divorcing couple. In both instances they could be mentioned in the articles of the decree.

Divorces in my state are under the jurisdiction of the Family Law Court. I'm sure the other states have similar courts that handle civil matters and are in not involved in criminal and/or tax matters.

Hope it helps

That is exactly what we have in Cuba,
Quote:

"Fiscalía" (District Attorney's Office)
under the Ministry of Justice.

Does this help? Usually Wikipedia is a very good resource.
