Default Confused

Hey, Im new to the whole forum and spanish thing. But I am wondering how to say :
I told your friends that they had to leave.

Roughly I guess it is: Dije tus amigos que tuvieron salir.

Also how to say:
If you dont i will tell your mother.

Si no habría, voy a decir tu madre.

Any ideas if any of that is right?

Thumbs up

Hi, PemE and Dragona!

Dragona's suggestions are great

However, to be more accurate on this sentence, I would say:

"If you dont i will tell your mother.
Si no habría, voy a decir tu madre. Si no le dices tú, le voy a decir a tu mamá." / Si (tú) no le dices a tu mamá/madre, yo lo haré.

Hope it helps

Hi Guadalupe,
While your translation may be correct, there are no commas in the initial sentence to imply that it's about who tells the mother.
IF it read: if you don't, I will- tell your mother. Then I would assume as you translate. But because it doesn't have any breaks- I'm assuming it's about "doing" something.
Just my 2cents
