Hola a todos:

Les imploro ayuda para instalar Trados. Resulta que ya lo ten�a instalado, pero hace tiempo que no lo usaba y ahora que quiero usarlo, no est� totalmente habilitado. Puedo abrir el Workbench, pero cuando abro Word, no puedo ver los botones de Trados y no s� porqu�.

He intentado desinstalar y volver a instalar, pero no puedo desisntalar porque al parecer hay un problema con Windows o algo as�, as� que volv� a instalar en otra partici�n del disco (D

, pero tampoco funciona.

�Tienen alguna idea? Necesito empezar pronto un proyecto.

�qu� puedo hacer?

Hi Ilatina! Le't see if this helps...

That darned TWB toolbar

We need to verify that the TWB bar appears in Word. In Microsoft Word, alongside the regular toolbars that always appear when you are word processing.

In addition to this bar, the Trados "flagman" should appear at the end of the first toolbar. The flagman looks like a cross between a train signalman and a bull-fighter.

And a new option (

Trados) should appear in the Word menu, next to Help:
Normally these three new elements are automatically installed when you install the program, but sometimes this is unfortunately not the case.

If none of those three elements appears, please do the following to rectify the situation:

1.

With the Windows Explorer, look for the C:\Program Files\TRADOS\(T55, T6, T65, T7, T8 or your version)\TT\Templates folder.

2.

Copy the template TRADOS5.dot or TRADOS6.dot (etc.) to the C:\Progam Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE\(Word)\STARTUP folder.

3.

When starting Word, the TWB bar should now appear underneath the other bars of Word.

Note: The paths and the template names indicated above may differ based on the version of Office and Trados you have installed.

Hola, desafortunadamente, no pude resolver el problema. Termin� optando por actualizar mi versi�n de Trados, ahora estoy usando una versi�nd e muestra, pero espero que pronto me env�en la licencia correspondiente.

Si tu versi�n de Trados es 2007 pod�s hacerla funcionar con Word 2007, pero si tu versi�n es anterior (incluso la 7.5) no funcionar� con Word 2007. La versi�n 7.5 y anteriores funcionar perfecto con Word 2003, que, dicho sea de paso, a mi criterio es mejor que la 2007.

Si ahora decidiste actualizar Trados (asumo a la �ltima versi�n, la 2007) funcionar� bien con Word 2007, pero si todav�a no lo hiciste prob� tu versi�n anterior de Trados con Word 2003 y ver�s que resolver�s todos tus problemas.

Hola! Ya descartaste que sea un problema de plantillas en word? En Word, entr� a Herramientas>Plantillas y complementos y fijate qu� est� la plantilla de Trados seleccionada. Si no est� en la lista, tienes que agregarla desde el bot�n Agregar (la plantilla est� en la carpeta del programa en Program files).

Yo tengo otro problema con Trados. Tengo una memoria Inglés Español. En determinado segmento tengo un 100% Match. Intento bajarlo pero todas las letras con acentos se reemplazan por caractéres extraños en Word.

¿Saben qué podría ser?
