Question Otro palabra que me cuesta traducir

La siguiente frase:

Para notificaciones ambos señalamos en Fax 2771-4509, con el autenticante Lic. Juan Rodriguez..

Como se escribiria la palabra subrayada en Ingles?

Yo lo pondria algo asi: ... "authenticating party/authority"
La verdad es que se trata de un testigo, tipo notario, que endosa/confirma/reconoce el documento en cuestion.

You might want to use "legalizing officer".

Si Juan Rodrigues es notario seria "notarized by Juan Rodriquez."

Otra opcion: "witnessed by..."

In the US we call a public notary a notary public...as in. "this document must be notarized (authenticated) by a notary public".
