MI TRADUCCIóN: I remember well that that Monday in La Estrella, the day following the escape of the angel that headed for the hills, I had made the unshakeable decision to follow after him, to look for him wherever he might go and follow him until the ends of the earth. The part that says "I remember well that that. . ." I am wondering if I can omit one 'that' to make it sound less confusing although I may be changing the meaning slightly. I really appreciate any advice ![]() |

Cathoos,
You can eliminate one "that" but it emphasizes remembering. If you want to emphasize Monday, you can say "I remember well that on that Monday". Also the English phrase is "to the ends of the earth" not "until the ends of the earth" (location not time). Hope it helps. Joel
