Hola a Todos...

Im translating a handout about Skin Rashes, it is talking about Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR). On of the Inhiditors is Tyrokinase Inhibitors. I have no idea what it could be in spanish... I have been trying to do some research but im not coming up with anything.

I think these are "inhibidores de la tirosinasa", since I assume "tyrokinase" is another (less common) spelling for "tyrosinase".

La tirosinasa (monofenol monooxigenasa) (EC 1.14.18.1; n�mero CAS: 9002-10-2) es una enzima que cataliza la oxidaci�n de fenoles (como la tirosina) y est� extendida en plantas y animales. La tirosinasa es una enzima cupr�fera presente en tejidos de plantas y animales que cataliza la producci�n de melanina y otros pigmentos de la tirosina por oxidaci�n, como el ennegrecimiento de una patata pelada o cortada expuesta al aire.

Hi all!

I think "tyrokinase" is a typo too. It's tyrosinase.

This article talks about EGFR and tyrosine kinase:

I think the tyrokinase is another way to write tyrosine kinase.
Reference #18 at the end of this article uses tyrokinase in the same context as tyrosine kinase:

The tyrosine kinase has a very different function than the tyrosinase:

I think the translation should be tirosina quinasa or tirosina kinasa.
