Dress and de-burr
How would you translate the word "dress" in this context. This is related to belt cleaners. Thank you.

Hi,
I guess that "dress" could be the protection for the device, belt, shaft or any other part which moves. In Spanish, I'd say "protección" if the translation suits the context. Cheers Jack |

Dress
Hi Jack. thank you for your answer but I think that in this context "dress" is a verb and not a noun. It should be more like "rectifique" or "alinee" in Spanish but I am not sure, that's why I am asking.

I believe to dress means to apply a coating on a surface, and deburr is to smooth sharp edges. So I think verbs would be more suitable too.
Nothing comes to my mind though. Maybe "pulir y lijar"? Doesn't sound right...
