Good Evening,
Would somebody please help me out with the expression "soltar el papel"?. I am translating articles about the stock market (my first time doing so) for my Uni project and I just cannot get the meaning of this at all ![]() .Here is the context (two men talking about shares): "Hay mucho dinero y poco papel" "Cuando llegue hasta aqui (he is looking at the computer screen graph about stocks and shares).......soltamos todo el papel y nos llevamos el dinero". Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks. LydiaElizabeth ![]() ![]() |

hi Lydia, papel is shares in this context.
There is a lot of money and little to buy. When I got to this point.......we sold all our shares and took the money.
