Good Evening,

Would somebody please help me out with the expression "soltar el papel"?. I am translating articles about the stock market (my first time doing so) for my Uni project and I just cannot get the meaning of this at all

.

Here is the context (two men talking about buying and selling shares):

"Hay mucho dinero y poco papel"
"Cuando llegue hasta aqui........soltamos todo el papel y nos llevamos el dinero".

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.
