I have just overlook its features on the web and it seems to have a quiet similar interface to Trados... but is it free? can a freelance translator create its own projects? do we need to be connected to the server all time?

TopNotch,
For what I got to use it, the free version allows you to receive created projects and work on them, but you can't export nor import the file. It is quite similar to Trados. I really like it, though. I haven't found out about its capability for importing text from different formats. (You know how trados can be a pain in the neck sometimes). Freelance translators can use it for free. I guess they make their money by selling it to the project managers! |
