![]() 1- Clockwise 2- Anti-clockwise 3- I can make her spin both clockwise and anti-clockwise If you see the girl turning clockwise, your right hemisphere dominates: You are highly creative, you use your imagination, feelings and perception of space, you are sensitive to symbols and images, you enjoy exploring the future and thinking philosophically… . If you see the girl turning anti clockwise, you use your left hemisphere: You are a logical thinker, you rely on realism, words and language. you are attracted by maths and science, knowledge, and specifics. . Hi Mercedes and Exxcéntrica,
I see both clockwise and anti-clockwise ... does this make me a highly creative logical thinker with realistic imagination ?

This is deep, so don't get lost as I give you my spin on it.
She is only turning clockwise. I can see both directions as well, but one is a trick of the mind. Which one .Well, if you pay attention to the shadow of her feet, you can see the light never changes angles (watch the shadow of the leg she's standing on). If so, then the light is behind her casting a shadow toward the viewer. Therefore, the shadow of the raised leg only makes sense if it is seen when away from the viewer (toward the light) and missing when leg is toward the viewer (shadow now being cast too close to be seen in box). Good luck with all that!! Whatever the direction, I think she needs a hug to stop all that spinning and I volunteer to help out. Thanks for the great post Exxcentrica! Steve |

So Steve, you're saying we that we should not believe our own eyes. jejeje
Clearly it is a mind trick because I see her switching from one direction to another before she makes a full spin. I say she is actually spinning clockwise because that is what we all see at first. ¿Que piénsan? It's weird! And a little spooky to think your mind can play such tricks on your eyes!???? By the way folks, in the USA we use the term "counter-clockwise" or "counter-clock" instead of "anti-clockwise". Just FYI. Saludos a todos!

Hi Vicente,
- the happy bachelor - in the UK they do say anti-clockwise. But whatever, with a naked girl spinning in the dark, who cares about the time ?

Hi Frank!! Well, that figures! But you know how we colonials are...we just have to be rebellious and different. You're right, I looked at that girl a LOT longer than I would have a spinning boy... ![]()
