Default Could someone please help me with two sentences?

Hello,
I wonder if anyone could help me interpret this?

Ya preguntamos en algunos lugares y con algunos compas y nada, ya casi nadie tiene el disco, Es dificil encontrarlo.
lo sentimos, Va un saludo cordial para allá.

Thank you very much beforehand!

We have already asked in some places and with cd's and no way, almost nobody has this record any more. It is difficult to find. We are sorry. Friendly greetings to all of you.

Thank you for your help exxcéntrica!
Could compas mean CD, or was it more "freely" translated in this particular context?

COMPAS means "friends" "pals" "buddies" , it is a common slang in some Latinoamerican countries, it is a short form for "compañeros" o "compadres" so the sentences could mean:
I have already asked some friends (people) and nobody has de CD
