Me podrían ayudar con estas dos prases: Si quiero expresar A PARTIR DE 1985 SE OBSERVA UN AUGE...., puedo traducirlo como , FROM 1985 (ON) A BOOM IN ....?

El SISTEMA COMERCIAL (DE DETERMINADO PAÍS) es THE TRADE SYSTEM OR THE COMMERCIAL SYSTEM??

No es incorrecto decir "From 1985 on(wards)...", "As of 1985..." es otra opción o también podrías decir "In 1985, we experienced a boom in -----"

No soy experta en negocios pero capaz podrías poner algo como "commercial structure".

Or does it only mean that there was a boom in 1985? (without reference to how long it continued)

Like Sarab, I am not expert in commercial language but I like TRADE SYSYEM or maybe COMMERCIAL TRADE, or COMMERCIAL TRADE SYSTEM.

o "an increase in trade is experienced"

Si se refiere a un incremento en el comercio del país (exportaciones e importaciones) no es necesario decir trade system or commercial system, puedes decir solamente "trade".
