Me gustaria preguntarle si equivoque en esta carta que escribi a una nina colombiana que apadrino. Le agradezco muchisimo por su ayuda.

¿Cómo estás? (How are you?) Te extraño mucho aquí en California. (I miss you a lot here in California) ¿Todavia comenzaste el año nuevo de primaria? (Did you start the new school year yet?) Entras el tercero grado, ¿verdad? (You are going into third grade, right?) Espero que te diviertas y que te guste tu maestra y tus compañeras de clase. (I hope that you are having fun and that you like your teacher and classmates)

Mis tres hijos ya comenzaron sus escuelas la semana pasada. (My three sons already started school last week) Ellos les gustan sus clases y maestros pero tienen que pasar mucho tiempo estudiando también. (They like their classes and teachers but they have to spend a lot of time studying too.) La tema favorito de Alex, mi hijo menor (10 años de edad), es matemáticas. (My youngest son, Alex (10 years old), favorite subject is math.) Miguel mi hijo medio (13 años) le gusta matemáticas y arte. (Michael, my middle son (13 years old) likes math and art.) Y Luis, mi hijo mayor (16 años) es un buen escritor y también a él le gustan las ciencias. (And, Luis, my oldest son (16 years old) is a good writer and also likes the sciences). Mi esposa Maria ayuda mucho a nuestros hijos en sus tareas y cuida a ellos en todo y la casa cuando estoy en mi trabajo. (My wife Maria helps our kids out with their homework and takes care of everything for them and the home when I am at work)
