    I would say:

    En este poco tiempo ya he roto demasiados corazones

    To me, "corto tiempo" sounds too literal.

    Hmmm no sé...tanto corto como poco pueden funcionar como adjetivos cuantitativos del sustantivo tiempo. Tal vez ambos tienen la misma válidez.

    No importa si se es literal cuando la palabra cuadra con exactitud. Siempre que se mantenga la fidelidad, claridad y exactitud con respecto al texto original, la elección de los sinónimos es subjetiva y es cuestión del gusto del traductor.

    Se ve con frecuencia la frase corto/largo plazo.

    De acuerdo con el DRAE:
    Poco
    1. adj. Escaso, limitado y corto en cantidad o calidad.

    corto1, ta.

    3. adj. De poca duración, estimación o entidad.


    Voy a investigar un poco y si encuentro algo interesante lo pongo más tarde.
