getting caught
Hola, tengo dudas con respecto a la siguiente frase en negritas
Check that the battery latch is fully engaged and is not broken or getting caught before fully catching. My try: Verifique que el sujetador de la batería esté completamente cerrado y que antes de insertarla no esté roto o  Thank you

Check that the battery latch is fully engaged and is not broken or getting caught before fully catching.
Verifique que el sostenedor de la batería esté totalmente enganchado y no esté roto o enredado antes de que haya cerrado totalmente. |

In Spain:
Compruebe que el sostenedor de la batería/pila (??) esté totalmente enganchado y no esté roto o pillado antes de que se cierre totalmente. |

También:
Comprueba que el pestillo de cierre de la batería esté completamente asegurado y no esté roto o atrancado antes de que se engrane completamente. No me gustaba sostenedor. Mejor pestillo de cierre. |

What about: Compruebe que la manija de la bateria esta completamente cerrada y no rota o atascandose antes de cerrarse completamente |
