Estoy traduciendo un fallo sobre child custody y necesito ayuda con la siguiente frase: "order to show cause for modification of the child custody and visitation order" Les doy el contexto para que me puedan guiar sobre una posible traducción: David Campos (husband) filed an order to show cause for modification of the child custody and visitation order relating to his sons, aged 15 and 12, after their mother, Linda Campos Brown (wife), announced she would move with the children from their home town of Santa Barbara to Moorpark, two hours away. Espero que los nombres incluidos en tu consulta hayan sido cambiados...
A mi me daria miedo los problemas que podraia acarrearme como traductor o interprete, publicar los nombres de las partes en Internet. YO se que es remoto, pero... |

"orden de comparecer para demostrar o alegar un mejor derecho", o como también dicen por ahí (que no me gusta): Orden para mostrar causa" No encuentro otra mejor manera de decirlo. eso de "orden para mostrar causa" no está muy "en español" (como dijera alguien por ahí: es "martian spanish") Sin embargo se peude tomar el sentido de "causa", en este caso, considero que es el derecho que asiste a la parte en cuestión para hacerle ver al Juzgador que su derecho es mejor que el de la otra parte. saludos |

Yo lo traduciria "X, solicito una orden de presentacion de un mejor derecho que la modificacion de la custodia y la orden de visitas en relacion a sus hijos, de 15 y 12 anhos respectivamente, luego que la madre, X (esposa) anuncio que se mudaria ..."
