    ¡Hola!
    Hoy me encontré con un término que no termino de entender: "Infusion".
    Este es el contexto:
    "If, for any reason you are not able to come to the agreed examination/infusion, or if you have any questions with regard to the study or completion of this subject diary, please contact your investigatos/study nurse"
    ¿Alguien me podría decir a qué se refiere con esa palabra?

    Te paso una explicación del Diccionario crítico de dudas inglés-español de medicina:

    "Actualmente, en inglés se usan mucho más infusión [...] para referirse a la administración de un líquido por acción de la gravedad. [...]El uso de infusión en el sentido de venoclisis no está todavía adminitido por la RAE, pero es de uso corriente entre los médicos de habla hispana en todo el mundo, y puede usarse sin problemas siempre que por el contexto quede claro en qué sentido se está usando. Cuando pueda haber confusión (p.ej.: en los textos de medicina naturista o fitoterapia, donde las infusiones tradicionales o tisanas son de uso frecuente), es preferible recurrir al tecnicismo venoclisis."

    En ese contexto, probablemente quiere decir, segun el dictionario Encarta:
    5. introduction of something needed
    the addition of a new or necessary quality or element to something
    • an infusion of private capital into the project
