hacer la capa

lo siento no hablo mucho espanol, pero posiblemente hacer la capa significa:

drag anchor (cuando la ancla no esta atascado y el barco se mueve)

to anchor (poner la ancla en la tierra)

to weigh anchor (levantar la ancla)

sea anchor (un tipo de ancla hecho de tela or algo similar)

Default Cockpit has no translation in Spanish?

I´ve heard most Spanish speaking people who have sailboats talk about the "cockpit" of their sailboat...They never use a Spanish term...Do you think there is one? These are small sailboats I´m talking about ...H19, grumetes, cadets...Thanks!
