Hi... in Venezuelan Spanish we have an expression that says:

"Aprieta ese rabo/culo/ esfinster/ orto" that means that you should be prepared for a really bad time to come...

For example here some Venezuelans say:

"Aprieta ese culo que lo que viene es candela"... how would you translate it?

What I would say is: "You´d better get an ice-bag because we´re about to receive an ass-kick"

I saw transformers the other day and they made that translation, but I didnt hear the expression in English... so please hep

Here in Cuba we say "Aprieta el culo y dale a los pedales" with the same meaning. However, I have no idea about the English equivalent.

We usually just say "watch out" or "brace yourself", but a closer common expression is "the shit's about to hit the fan" which is usually shortened to "it's about to hit the fan". You also hear people mumble "holy shit" when something bad is about to happen.

A famous line from a movie frequently used is "fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy ride".
