I agree with this first part:
Espero consigas este trabajo, mantendré mis dedos cruzados.

but I´m not sure about your last English sentence. Did you mean: I´ll get you a present when I visit you?
In that case, this option is also correct:
Te llevaré un regalo cuando te visite.
