Translation of a love letter

Hi everyone,

It is my boyfriends birthday, and i want do do something very special for him. Amongst all things I wrote this letter from the heart but I want to write it to him in his language. I want to make it special, therefore I would apritiate if someone would be able to translate this for me into spanish, and please be as percise as you can as these are my emotions and feelings you are translating.

Thank you for entering my life, opening my eyes and giving me hope.

I would just make a few changes:

You are truly a special person, and I am lucky to have met you.
Eres una persona especial de verdad, and tengo suerte de conocerte.

"Eres en verdad una persona especial y tuve la suerte de haberte conocido."
In this case it's better to use the past perfect in Spanish.

I care for you and for your well being
Tu y tu bienestar me importan.

this translation is ok but I would like to propose some version.

"Me preocupo por ti y por tu bienestar"

... but that only proves one thing, that my love for you is very strong, sincere and true.

pero eso demuestra nada más que mi amor por tú es muy fuerte, sincero, y verdadero.

another version:
...pero eso solo demuestra que mi amor por ti es muy fuerte, sincero y verdadero

I'd say "te amo" to my love, but there are a lot of people that say "te quiero"... "Te amo" seems to be stronger in meaning... at least for me.

And regarding "te amo" vs. "te quiero" vs. "te adoro"...I must say that you SHOULD change that, since, looking back on it...I was thinking in French! I'm so sorry! I believe the propoer idea would be "te amo"
