    Default "to grade"

I am a professor in education, but I am taking a first-year Spanish class. I am trying to figure out how to say, "This weekend, I will be grading my students' lesson plans." I am having difficulty finding a verb that means "to grade." Is "calificar" the right verb? Would the following statement be correct?

"Este fin de semana, voy a trabajar. Tengo que calificar 23 planes de leccion para mis estudiantes."

    Hi Mari Beth,
Yes, you can use "CALIFICAR" or "EVALUAR"
ESTE FIN DE SEMANA TENGO QUE CALIFICAR/EVALUAR (23) PLANIFICACIONES DE CLASES (DE MIS ALUMNOS) OR (PARA MIS ALUMNOS)

DID YOUR STUDENTS PLAN THE LESSONS AND YOU HAVE TO GRADE THEM? I DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS VERY WELL.
