    Default Hola! ayuda para traducir un término

    Hola! necesito ayuda para traducir el término "alcaidía". Aca en Argentina es un lugar que depende de la gendarmería nacional y es para mantener gente antes del traslado a las cárceles, pero NO es lo mismo que una comisaría (police station).

    el parrado dice "personas que se encuentran detenidas en Alcaidías y Comisarías de la Ciudad".

    In that context I think °detention center° would be appropriate.
