    Default Valor p vs Valor de p

    Estoy traduciendo un curso de estadística donde se habla mucho de "p value", y no sé si ponerlo como "valor p" o "valor de p". Prefiero la segunda opción, pero no estoy seguro.
    Que opinan?

    ¿Podrías brindar más contexto?

    Cuando cursé estadística en la facultad, muchos de los textos "mal" traducidos figuraban con exageraciones del español medio anticuadas como: "Las ecuaciones han de hacerse" "Quien aventurose a realizar el estudio de campo" y cosas así

    The fact that the p value of this test is .087 means that there is a probability of .087 (reasonably likely) of observing data like those observed if the true population average number of hours to learn piano is 10,000. Be sure to frame the meaning of the p value with respect to the null hypothesis.

    Aparentemente el texto tiene más connotación científica, por lo que creo que es más apropiado decir: valor "p"

    Si fuese aritmética o álgebra sería "el valor de X para..." según tengo entendido.

    Se refiere al valor p de Fisher. También lo he visto directamente y en forma más literal como p-valor.

    En la página de IBM (https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledg...p?scope=SS4QC9) aparece como "valor de significación" o "valor p".

    I will have to go with the client's preference (valor de p) even though I would have pocked "valor p".---the client is king.
