Interesting lol. Well in Chinese the youngest generations have adapted the greetings from English such as: hi, hello, bye or byebye, etc., even tough they do have equivalente translation.
So is very common that when you say hi or goodbye to your friends you say:
哈囉~, hi~,8~ or 88. (Notice the tilde ~ after hi and 8 which means that you have to extend the tone of the last syllable in order to sound more cute . We say "8" coz in Chinese it sounds like /bai/)

Do expressions like "long time no see" and "people mountain pleople sea" count? As I know they are first used by Chinese-Americans as the literal translation word by word from their respective Chinese expressions.
In Chinese we say: "Hao Jio Bu Jian" and "Ren Shan Ren Hai."

Cuando visité España, particularmente en Madrid, los estacionamientos, que en muchas partes de américa latina, son señalados con una E redondeada, aparecían como P - Parking.
Al preguntar por qué, me contaron que de esa manera ciudades de turismo internacional pueden asociarse a sus vecinos cercanos en francés justamente es Parking también y en alemán parken

Does people mountain people sea mean a sea of people? Do people use it in English?
