From an employee manual from Puerto Rico for a clothing factory.
1. Máquinas tendedoras En el área de corte: Está prohibido caminar cerca de las máquinas tendedoras sin tomar las medidas de seguridad necesarias. 2. Tarea Todo tarea de trabajo directo será considerado firme y permanente en tanto y en cuanto las circunstancias que la determinaron permanezcan igualmente constantes... El término tarea queda definido como: Cantidad de piezas, docenas o paquetes que un operario debe producir en un tiempo requerido 3. talonario (possibly incorrectly used?) No se pondrá en funcionamiento ninguna maquinara o equipo que tenga un talonario defectuoso. The manual has clearly been poorly translated from English into Spanish by a non native speaker, which has affected word choice in other parts of the document. Thanks for your help! Nicole |
