Default Impuesto Inmobiliario/ And Turnover Tax

Hi guys,
I'd like to know whether IMPUESTO INMOBILIARIO can be translated as PROPERTY TAX OR REAL ESTATE TAX or both of them are incorrect?

Is TURNOVER TA "INGRESOS BRUTOS"?

Thanks all.

I would go for "Real Estate Tax" Diego . As regards Turnover tax, I guess depending on the location it could be translated as "impuestos sobre ganancias brutas. But let me investigate a little more to be sure

Regards !!

Hola Diego.

Kind regards

A turnover tax is similar to a sales tax or a VAT, with the difference that it taxes intermediate and possibly capital goods. It is an indirect tax, typically on an ad valorem basis, applicable to a production process or stage. For example, when manufacturing activity is completed, a tax may be charged on some companies. Sales tax occurs when merchandise has been sold.

A property tax is a tax imposed on property by reason of its ownership. Property tax can be defined as "generally, tax imposed by municipalities upon owners of property within their jurisdiction based on the value of such property."[20] There are three species of property: land, improvements to land (immovable man-made things, e.g. buildings) and personal property (movable things). Real estate or realty is the combination of land and improvements to land. (Impuesto Inmobiliario)

Turnover Tax = VAT = IVA

Gross Income Tax = Ingresos Brutos

Property Tax or Real Estate tax (Impuesto inmobiliario)
Property tax, or millage tax, is an ad valorem tax that an owner is required to pay on the value of the property being taxed. Property tax can be defined as "generally, tax imposed by municipalities upon owners of property within their jurisdiction based on the value of such property."[1] There are three species or types of property: Land, Improvements to Land (immovable manmade objects; i.e., buildings), and Personal (movable manmade objects). Real estate, real property or realty are all terms for the combination of land and improvements. The taxing authority requires and/or performs an appraisal of the monetary value of the property, and tax is assessed in proportion to that value. Forms of property tax used vary between countries and jurisdictions.
