    Hi nabylm,

It's very polemical. They are varieties of the same language, but practically identical. Ethnologue says that Moldova's language is Romanian (just to give an example): Moldova - Status | Ethnologue

    Hi danielr,

I noticed that while I was working with a moldovan translation. The wiki is pretty interesting, I advise you to read it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moldovan_language
It says "Moldovan is one of the two names of the Romanian language"
I guess we have our answer (as long as you trust wikipedia)

    Hello nabylm,

Let's trust Wikipedia too. We don't want to take part in that conflict!

I guess we should go to the sources. Exploring the Official Site for the Romanian National Tourist Office, it says "Romanian".
It's also very interesting that, although the country is located in Eastern Europe, with Slavics countries surrounding it, the language is in fact an Old Latin one. So it's relative simple to understand for spanish, italian, french and portuguese speakers

Yes! One can have fun reading Romania. It's like Latin with a different alphabet, endings and Slavic words here and there.
