Can anyone confirm that there was a Simpson's episode in which there appeared a Level 5 Vegan who "won't eat anything that casts a shadow"? Someone told me this but I've never seen it. Thanks.

yes, it is in the episode "Lisa the Tree Hugger" when bart is a thai delivery boy and Lisa is upset about the waste of paper....

There's also an episode when Lisa sees a lamb alive and likes it so much that decides not to eat meat again. Then throws away Homer's BBQ pig, and meets Apu who is also a vegetarian.

That was a good episode.
