hi everyone!!
obviously (since i'm posting here) i'm new!
my main reason for joining is that i'm dating a mexican boy... i met him in mexico city on vacation... and we hit it off... we understand most of what the other says, but there are still times when things get lost in translation, because my spanish is awful... and his english is only pretty good... we can usually figure things out, but not always... thought it might be nice to be able to ask some experts. thanks! this is a wonderful forum that has already answered a few of my questions, so i thought it was about time i joined. -kelly  |

Welcome! It's great you joined this community! And good luck with your boyfrind... Between you and me, once I heard Julio Iglesias saying that the best way to learn a language is "in bed". I found it funny, you just let us know how you're doing with your spanish!!!
