Default Help with Spanish

Ok guys, if you could, please read this over and make sure it all makes sense.

En la clase de espanol, hemos aprendido como a decir la comida y las comidas, los modos de tranporte y muchos verbos. Aprendemos como a usar los pronombres directos e indirectos, las palabras indefinidas y negativas, y finalmente los negativos dobles. Sabemos la diferencia entre saber y conocer, como usar pretéritos irregulares y el pretérito de tallo que cambia verbos.

In Spansih class, we've learned how to say food and the meals, the modes of transportation and many verbs. We've learned how to use direct and indirect object pronouns, indefinite and negative words, and finally double negatives. We know the difference between saber and conocer, how to use irregular preterites and how to use the preterite of stem changing verbs.

Thanks.

OK, I guess if you fix the spelling of Spanish, but which way are you going? Seems like you're going English to Spanish.

¿Inglés a español o en sentido contrario?

I think it is fine that you only have to say your text in class, but tranporte is not the same as transporte, etc. In fact “tranporte” is not a word in Spanish. As you must have learnt Spanish has a nearly phonetic pronunciation, which is not the case for English, therefore if you take time to spell correctly it will help you achieve a good pronunciation. It is up to you.

Maybe I shouldn’t be revealing all my secrets, but Microsoft Word corrects more than spelling even if the document is in both English and Spanish. (And I’m no fan of Microsoft). It works a lot better if the English and Spanish are at least in their own paragraphs. I was stunned the first time I looked back and saw it had flipped a question mark over for me and silently added accent marks.

That would be a bit better, I think. I just took out a couple of "a" s though, it didn't change a lot.
