Default Nacha Pop- troubles with translation

    Hi everybody,

can anyone please help mi with this lyric of Nacha Pop, especially with the first lines,

    Cúbrete, te vas a congelar
    Esperare el momento para actuar
Si amor, esto es delicioso pero puede ser mejor al calor
Vístete, te sigo esperando blusa aquí, falda ya
Cálzate, pon cuero sobre seda negra
Vístete, aguantaré vístete, te sigo esperando
Sigo a tus pies vístete ya Tápate me sigues provocando un poco
    Vístete, por favor.

thanks in advance, just trying to translate this for my spanish classes i have some grammar problems ;]

"Levántate, vístete", etc., these are verbs in imperative form:

Ten o'clock, get up, get dressed, we will never get there on time.
It's got cold, put on warm clothes, I can't wait to see what you put on today.
    Behave properly...

I hope this helps you. I agree with Exxcéntrica, if this is homework, you should give it a try first. Instead of using your computer and Google, why don't you try it the old way? Open a good English-Spanish dictionary and do some research there.

Hi David, as Carlos said, that's the way to go, best with an old fashioned dictionary.

Almost all verbs with "te" at the end are imperatives: abrígate, abrigar, vístete, vestir....,so they are not past simple as you thought.

I will help you out with some infinitives, then , please, if you wish, give us your translation and we will gladly proofread it.

    Hi,
thanks for your help exxcéntrica, CarlosRoberto, good to know someone can help :]
because I had to prepare one song for my classes and that one was a little difficult so I decided to choose one of the greatest hits of Roxette Habla el corazón, was easy and I needed that (short of time)

but now, back to your advices, will try to cope with nacha pop, checking how to build imperative form, have a good spanish-polish dictionary (I'm polish) but sometimes the Internet offers more than dictionaries,
thanks for infinitives forms-- very helpful :] will show u my results at weekend

    regards
    david
