need help getting started - English Spanish Translator Org: Translation Forum � Translators Forums

Hi I am new to this forum. My wife is a native of Cuzco Peru and we are planning on going there to visit her family sometime next year. The problem is that I don't know spanish and her family doesn't know much english so I would like to learn some spanish so I can at least converse without depending on her for translation all the time.I took a couple years of spanish in high school about four+ years ago but have retained very little. I was wondering if someone could set me in the right direction.
