I have a student that rides my school bus and other kids have been calling her a name. I dont know if it is even spanish and I dont know how to spell it. It sounds like "bergeeda" when she says it but I was thinking she may not hear that they are using a "p" instead of a "b" so I have no idea if you can help. She is distraught. Can you help??

"If" is an spanish expression could be "pendeja". That is a despective term for little girl, not very insulting, at least in Argentina. In argentinian slang "pendejo" is one pubic hair.
