    Default Help!!!!!! Please!!!!!

I have a new friend in Lima, PE. she sent me her email address by text message, but it isn't correct. We have had difficulty communicating by telephone, so I would really like to get the email communication flowing.

the address that she sent by text (I think from a non-smart-phone) is: xxxxxxxxx?yyyyihotmail

the x's are discernible letters and the y's are discernible numbers. The "i" is the @ sign, I am certain. It is the "?" that I am not certain about. Please help.

    thanks much........

    Hello NstiGator57,
My guess is that the "?" synbol could be a "ñ" or some other character, such as "á", "é", etc I wouldn't be able to tell.

They are physically the same, and I would say the software is also the same, all that changes is the language setting, in my phone, you can choose either English, Spanish, French or Portuguese.
    All the best

In the 2G cell phones you could only include the symbol ? by selecting it from a list of symbols.

However, the new smart phones are different. For instance, the BlackBerry's keypad operates in a similar manner to a PC keyboard where you have to press the shift key to get a symbol. In the BB, the ? symbol is on the same key as v.

So, maybe she meant to type v instead of ? but by mistake she pressed the shift key and got a ?.
