Hi people! I'm translating a text for a Human Resources company, and I'm in doubt on how to translate the term "claim" -into Spanish- in this context:
*** authorizes employers and insurers who have designated a certified Health Care Network to direct injured employees to the HCN for Workers’ Compensation related medical care. Proper implementation of the HCN by the employer results in improved medical provider control from the onset of a claim. Injured employees must select their treating doctor from the network. "Demanda" is not suitable, as it is used in legal proceedings. This does not involve a legal proceeding, so I thought of using "reclamo" or "reclamación". Can anyone give me an opinion on this? Thanks a lot! ![]() |

I think "reclamo" is fine. I thought of "queja" also, but that adjusts more to "complaint".

Thanks Verónica!
I also think "reclamo" is the right choice here. ![]() |
