    Hi Redcap!

I think it's fine if you want to play with the double meaning of the name and the possessive pronoun.

Hope this could be of help.

Hi there, are you getting a tatoo in Spanish? if so, "'Siempre tu eres mia' doesn't sound very natural. I'd rather say "Siempre serás mia" (you'll always be mine) or "Mia eres siempre" (you're always mine).

    Any thoughts?

Hi, thanks for the reply. I'm after some advice on other possible ideas which include Mia's name so both of your suggestions fit. My concern is that is translates in Spanish....

I hope I'm not too late, but another option could be "Seras siempre Mía"

    Hope this helps!!

I feel the same as mvictoria. The two of them sound unnatural.

If I were you I would consider "Siempre Mía".

So would this mean 'always mine', would a spanish reader understand it??

    Hi,
Not too late!! just getting some ideas, I guess this would mean 'you will always to mine', does the order of the words matter? ,y teacher says spanish is not so strict...?

The translation of the sentence would still be "You'll always be mine".
In this case, the order doesn't matter... It makes it sound more "poetic".. In these cases, you can alter the order of the words (as long as it makes sense) to make it sound... "Pretty"
Anyway, I liked Palomita's option "Siempre Mia"... It's simple, but it works!

    Hello redcap
I guess "siempre mia" or "siempre serás mia" sounds too possessive. Are you sure you want to say this? I don't know in English, but in Spanish it sounds to me.
