    Default expelling a turd

Hi! I read this phrase "expelling a turd" but I am not sure what does it mean.
It is an idiomatic expression I think.
    Does anybody know?
    Thank youuuu!

    Hi Clara!
A turd is a slang term for feces... so imagine the rest

thank you! Mem, haha so funny to find that phrase in a book. Is it a polite way of saying it? or it is vulgar?

    thank you

It is not polite at all. I've heard the term "turd" used in a joking vulgar way. Something Larry The Cable Guy would use, definetly, so it is by no means polite.
    Funny, but not polite...

thank you Dragona! Since I found it in a book (The New York Trilogy by Paul Auster), I was not expecting to find a vulgar term.
    Thank you for the clarification.

    kisses!

hahaha! What a strange expression to include in a book. No tiene otro sentido que "cagar." Ningun significado poetico ni util.
