Default clear sky

Does someone know how I can translate " a return to clear skies"?

Is there a phrase in Spanish which reflects the same meaning than in English?

Thanks

Pandemic influenza is not always like a sudden storm, followed by a return to clear skies = Una gripe pandémica no siempre es como una tormenta repentina, seguida por un retorno a cielos claros

Yo diría: seguida por un cielo despejado.
