    Default Childlike abandonment?

    Hi eveyone,

I'm working on a faith related translation. The topic is trusting in God with "childlike abandonmet" and I'm having such a hard time with that term...

"abandono infantil" really dones't work, since we are not advocating child neglect... =P

Any clue how to translate this?

Here are some examples of the occurance of the phrase:

"We won’t experience these things in this life, but childlike abandonment invites us to have an eternal perspective: this life is not an end but rather a preparation for eternity."

"Do we give in to the fear and let it control our thoughts and actions, or do we place our trust in God’s providence with childlike abandonment?"

"Trusting in his providence, we can place our lives safely in God’s hands with a childlike abandonment"

The term childlike abandonment means to abandon caution and eagerly do something or trust in something/someone with the innocence of a child without reservation.

Here are some links that refer to the term in faith:

    Thank you Vicente,

I know what it means, my problem is translating it into Spanish. Any clue how to say it in Spanish?
