    Hola alguien sabe de q puede estar hablando este texto? Se trata de tuberias. A q se refiere con right of way???

    Pero, no presentas ningún texto sólo una frase completamente aislada. Si bien indicas el tema general tuberías, para poderte ayudar con precisión debes proporcionar más contexto, o sea, más información de lo que rodea la frase. Sobre todo el sujeto o agente que tiene el/la right of way.

    Pero bueno, mientras lo haces, te doy una pista, en líneas generales significa la vía sin obstáculos o que corresponde en una situación dada.

    "Right of way" is a legal term referring to the right to access a property that belongs to someone else. I think "easement" is a similar term, but I'm not sure about the details on this.

    Maybe your original text refers to a city having legal access to properties they don't own when underground pipes need to be installed or repaired.

    Yes, that's right! I agree with you, Maria.

    Joselas, I suggest you do some research on the legal concept called "servidumbres" in Spanish. Here is an example: Servidumbre de paso - La guía de Derecho. Please provide more context if you need further help.

    Guadalupe...creo que está bien hablar de Servidumbre de paso en lo que se refiere a terminología legal, pero si en este caso el texto habla de tuberías, supongo que es más bien un tono figurativo. Caluclo que debe hacer referencia al paso del flujo del agua por la tubería

    Exactamente eso pensé yo.

    Desde el comienzo no lo vi desde el punto de vista de legal, pues sería suponer que se estaba utilizando como un termino legal, con lo cual , entre otras cosas, debería estar en otra sección de este sitio. Solamente por la palabra tubería no se podía concluir que se trataba del significado legal de la frase. No me gusta adelantarme a los hechos ni hacer conjeturas sin fundamento.

    En fin que el que nos puede sacar de dudas es joselas y no se ha aparecido a comentar.

    Hola, Ricardo. Sí, estoy de acuerdo. En realidad, como no se brindó un ejemplo concreto del contexto, seguí el razonamiento de Maria, dado que en alguna oportunidad encontré textos relativos tuberías que hablaban de servidumbres.
