Re: Anuncio de graduación
Aornelas,
Give us the Spanish version and I will try to help you
Re: Anuncio de graduación
Muy buena propuesta la de Diego. Give it a try !!!!
Hope it helps
Re: Anuncio de graduación
Hi guys sorry for the delay. I thought I would get some sort of alert if someone replied to my posting. . but I guess not. This is what I have:
La Universidad De Colorado
Anuncia que
NAME
Es candidata(o) para recibir su
Licenciatura de Comunicaciones (OR should it be “Comunicación”)
Se graduara con Mención Honorífica (OR “Se graduara Cum Laude” ¿)
El Sábado, dieciséis de Mayo
Del dos mil nueve
Nueve imputo de la mañana
Auraria Field
Denver, Colorado
I am not sure whether I need to say just say Cum Laude as there is no such thing in Mexico??
Thank for your help! :)
Re: Anuncio de graduación
AORNELAS
ACA VA MI INTENTO.
The University of Colorado
announces that (NAME) is a candidate to be granted his / her degree in of Bachelor of Arts Communication (en mi opinión communication está ok y por otro lado sacaría lo de Bachelor of Arts y dejaría sólo degree in Communication si es que esta es una carrera de grado)
He/She will graduate Graduating Cum Laude. The commencement exercise takes place on Saturday 16, May of the year 2009 at nine o'clock A.M

Saludos !!!

Here it's my version.
Hebe,
I think that es candidato A recibir.... es mejor que PARA recibir/ On the other hand, I think it is better to say: LICENCIATURA EN COMUNICACIONES
Regarding "comunicación or comunicaciones" I am not very sure. Let's wait for some other opinion. But I think that LICENCITURA EN COMUNICACIONES is ok.
Re: Anuncio de graduación

:) Thank you so much Diego for your interest and effort. However I must tell you that in most Sppanish Speaking Universities the Diploma reads "Se le confiere el Título de Licenciada en _______ a __(name) ____ "
Hope it helps
