Hi guys,
has anyone read AND seen this movie? I have tried relentlessly to finish it, but I just don’t seem to make it. Should I skip the book and just rent the movie?

The short answer to your question is that if you watch the movie before reading the book, you might as well never read the book, because the movie images will be stuck in your head as you read the book, such as characters, etc.
