Hi all,
"mas noite foi má", I don't think the evening was "wonderful", despite whole context of conversation. The conjunction "mas" (but) indicates the opposite: he was working during the morning at CT (I wonder what is "CT" in Portuguese, I don't have any clue!) but the evening was bad.
Yes, "andado" doesn't mean "to walk" but it is a synonym of the verb to be :)

Small disagreement. I'd translate this as "How was that thing in the morning?"
("That thing" refers to something previously discussed, something not in this conversation but clearly known to both parties.)
