Feedback from Translators
Hi all,
You know freelancers usually get feedback from their direct clients or agencies regarding their translations... I was wondering whether we have feedback from the other side.
I mean, were any of you (especially translators) ever asked about your feedback about your client? or about the translation agency you usually work for?
Re: Feedback from Translators
Not in my experience, but I think it's a great idea.
Re: Feedback from Translators
wow... REVOLUTIONARY idea, analaura... I'm imagining all the things I'd say about (not having the chance to tell THEM) those clients who have objected to the use of some perfectly well-chosen word or phrase, or worse, "corrected" my translations (to give just one example, a client once returned my translation with a red line crossing out "real" and a big "ACTUAL" in Spanish on top for -yes, you guessed right- "actual" in the English source... besides other "corrections").
Hmmmmmm...
Re: Feedback from Translators
hahahha, thatīs so so true...
but, I was thinking of agencies mainly... I was wondering whether any agency has the policy of "listening to" their resources some how....by surveys or questions, etc?
