A lot of Argentinian an Latin American forums of Spanish descent use "ahre" in various forms and ways.
Do any of you use it and know how to translate it to English?
I think it falls under slang, but I can't really tell.

The only one I know are "Ahre" that uses the people known as "chetos". There is also "Arre" without "h" that is used when ridding a horse "Arre caballo".
Solo vos lo escribís como 'ahre'. Los demás lo escribimos como "ah, re..."

You use ahre to emphasize that something you said before was joking or even a lie - in a sarcastic way- i.e: I love doing homework, ahre.
Something like "Scraping the bottom of the barrel... ahre" :P

Exactly. Those explanations show that it's from Argentina. Other countries don't even use "re" in that way.
