Si, tenés razon. Son dos opciones para offset. Pero no me queda bien en el contexto. A menos que no este expresando bien el resto.

Que tal si lo pones asi:
Probablemente, los gerentes tendrán que compensar los beneficios que ofrece el estatus mejorado que ofrece la independencia laboral, contra una reducción significativa en los ingresos e incentivos corporativos.
Es que "relegar" no me parece adequado.

Me acabo de dar cuenta que puse "que ofrece" 2 veces en la frase. Estoy segura que te diste cuenta tambien y cambiaste uno de los dos ;)
