La Rosa de Guadalupe es lo más bizarro/triste y con el mensaje "religioso" más obvio que existe o existió jamás. Me tocó subtitular varios capitulos, y los sufrí a todos :D Sus milagros realmente son impresionantes, jaja. Casi llega a la ciencia ficción.

Hubieras enviado tu caso a La Rosa de Guadalupe, quizás te hacía un milagro y no tenías que subtitularlo más jaja \(≧▽≦)/

Hola nablylm:D
Culebrón confused me too and these descriptions confused me even further.
Culebra has other definitions that I wasn't aware of:
culebra
feminine noun
1. (animal)
a. snake
2. (money owed) (Latin America)
a. debt
3. (disorder)
a. no direct translation
I suppose the third definition which has no direct translation is the origin of the usage to describe problematic relations between people and encompasses a whole range of words (Drama, animosity, feud, vendetta, hatred, loathing, vindictiveness, alienation, disaffection, estrangement, conflict, discord, friction, strain, tension, unfriendliness, malice, spite, etc., etc.):D:D:
P.S. Maybe the best English word(s) would be "emotion, emotions, emotional)? or "turmoil"? Que opinan todos?
Re: ¿Qué quiere decir que algo sea culebrón?
Hola vicente! Now I see the big picture!
The second option (debt) is still quite confusing. Alguien tiene algún ejemplo donde se usa "culebrón"de esta forma?
Re: ¿Qué quiere decir que algo sea culebrón?
2. (money owed) (Latin America)
a. debt
Ese todavía tiene culebra conmigo y estoy harto de esperar. That guy still owes me a debt and I'm tired of waiting.

Hi Vicente! I've never heard this before. It sounds to me like Colombian or Panama slang. Do you know where do the use it? BTW it's really a funny expression
Re: ¿Qué quiere decir que algo sea culebrón?
Hola Santiago!
I don't know. I got the definition and the example sentence from SpanishDict: Spanish Dictionary | Spanish to English to Spanish Translation

Hi Vicente, I think that the right English word for "culebrón" is soap opera

No solo esas, hay culebrones de todos los orígenes. Por ejemplo, uno que estuvo muy de moda hace poco: Downton Abbey.
Tiene un estilo completamente diferente, pero igual es un culebrón.
